Bettie Harden Obituary
Bettie graduated from Brenau College where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She and her family were active members of Commerce Presbyterian Church for many years.
Bettie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Willis Neal Harden, Jr of Commerce, GA; daughter, Susan (Brian) Banister of Athens, GA; sons, Neal (Carolyn) Harden of Athens, GA, Preston Harden of Commerce, GA and Tom (Bridget) Harden of Commerce, GA; brother, William Edward Callaway of Marietta, GA; and much-loved grandchildren, Brian and Mary Banister and Thomas and Will Harden.
Memorial services were Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Commerce Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Commerce Presbyterian Church, 89 Lakeview Drive, Commerce, GA 30529 or the Tumbling Water Society (www.hurricaneshoalspark.org).

The Tumbling Waters Board sends our heartfelt condolences to Bettie's Family. We have missed her since she became an Emeritus member, but we remember her dedication and love of Hurricane Shoals and the Heritage Village. Her name will be engraved on the Tumbling Waters' Memorial Bench at the Park. She will be remembered fondly by each of us.

The Commerce Garden Club sends our condolences to Bettie's family. She loved the garden club and at sometime or another held every office, for she was a member for over 50 years. Her leadership, wit, and wisdom was appreciated by all of us. It was a thankful moment in our lives to have known and been associated with her.
