Beverly Neal Obituary
Survivors include her daughter, Shawanda (Manuel) Garcia; mother, Lucille Neal; sisters, Brenda Neal, Lutricia Mitchell and Freda Neal; brothers, Vernell Neal, Jr. and William Charles Neal; devoted friend, Jap Watkins; five grandchildren, one great grandchild, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 16, from the Ebenezer Baptist Church, West, with interment in East Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be Sunday, May 15, from 2:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M at the funeral home.
Gardenview Funeral Chapel of Athens is in charge of arrangements. 1961 - 2016

Dear Shawanda and Family,
I extend my sincere condolences to all of you. I only recently received the news of this shocking loss. I was actually looking for Ms. Beverly in church on Sunday unaware of her passing. She will be missed dearly. She was always full of life, confident and had a larger than life personality that reached you before she did. I loved her to pieces. Ms. Beverly was a woman who was real, hilarious and sweet...I hope the angels are ready for her! Know that she loved you, always spoke of you and will always be with you. I pray that God provides comfort for all of you and that time will make the loss easier to cope with. Ms. Beverly- peaceful journey.

WonderFul Lady with a Great Personally, I had the pleasure of working with her for about 2 years and for that I'm GreatFul she was My Mother at work where we Talked about life & Her Pride & Joy!! I am just lost for words. Beverly was one of the most humble person I know, never change ,always the same. my heart is heavy right now, I want the family to know that my prayers are with all of them. Always remember to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord.
