Dana Shellnut Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, at the chapel of Lord & Stephens East, with the Rev. Joe Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Athens Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney Shellnut; children, Andrew (April) Kesler, Kristin Shellnut and Briana Shellnut; parents, Bob and Connie McCurley; brother, Robby (Rebecca) McCurley; and nephew and nieces, Justin, Heather and Aurora, all of Crawford.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, September 19, at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home East, Athens, is in charge of the arrangements.

We love and miss you already Dana. Your smile and spirit always had a way of captivating people. You knew just the right words to say, how to make a bad day better and if that didn't work there was always Red Lobster. I know this is not good bye but it's simply till I see you again dear friend. May you now watch over your family and guide them. Allow them to know that you are always there with them. Many prayers.
