Evelyn Clark Obituary
Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late James Roy and Lillie Belle Daniel Fowler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Evans Clark Sr.; daughter, Rebecca Clark Duffell; son, Russell Wayne Clark; grandson, Mark Duffell; and sister, Dale Stephens.
She was retired office manager from the family business, Clark Flying Service. For a number of years, Mrs. Clark was a volunteer for St. Mary's Auxiliary, and she was a long-time member of Sonlight Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Fred (Sandra) Clark, of Toccoa, and David (Judy) Clark, of Colbert; son-in-law, Darrell Duffell; sisters, Sharon (Grady) Brown and Ann (Paul) Harris, of Royston; grandchildren, Travis Clark, Cyndie (Mike) Hunt, Michael Duffell, Matthew (Yana) Duffell, Kevin (Stacey) Clark, Kathryn (Chris) Flores, and Christopher (Megan) Clark; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Allen Hunt, Rett, Wes, and Kade Clark, Caleb and Abby Flores, and Madeline Alewine; as well as nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, at the Lord & Stephens East Chapel, with the Rev. Kevin Clark officiating. Interment will be in Athens Memory Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Sonlight Baptist Church Thanksgiving Offering, 1134 Hargrove Lake Rd., Colbert, GA 30628.

Evelyn, you will be missed dearly. I was happy to have been a part of your family when I was with Mark. You were such a kind woman to me. I will always carry my memories of Sunday dinners at your house and just hanging out with Mark there too. To the Clark family too, everyone of ya'll are in my thoughts and prayers. At least now she can go home and see Fred, Becky, Wayne, and Mark. Do me a favor and tell Mark that I love him and Becky too!
