Genevieve Lomax Obituary
She had lived in Athens since 1946. She was retired from the ASCS Dept. of the U.S. Government.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Corcoran, Roswell, Ga., Sherry Kara, Virginia Beach, Va., two sons, Kenneth Guest, Atlanta, Glenn Guest, Jacksonville, Fla., 8 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 11, 2004 in the Chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Bohler officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Bridges Funeral Home on Monday May 10, 2004 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the Athens Area Humane Society, 399 Beaver Dam Dr., Athens, Ga. 30605.
Bridges Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
