Grady McCannon Obituary

Bishop - Grady Wayne McCannon, age 67, of Bishop, passed away on November 16, 2006 at his residence. He was born on in Lexington, Ga. on April 1, 1939 to the late Sam and Sallie Holiday McCannon. He was a member of the Monroe Church of Christ and a truck driver by trade. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Walt and Billy McCannon. He is survived by his wife, Faye Dewberry McCannon, two children, Leon (Ashley) McCannon of Watkinsville, and Dwayne (Crissy) McCannon of Bishop. Two sisters and a brother, Shirley M. King of Athens, Betty Kittle Lovett of Sylvania, and Sam McCannon of Winterville. He also has four grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday evening, November 17, 2006, from 7 till 9 pm at the funeral home. There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Center, or American Cancer Society. Lord and Stephens-West, 1211 Jimmy Daniel Rd. is in charge of the arrangements.
