Linda Albea Obituary
Ms. Albea was a native of Winder, and had lived in Wilkes County since 1979. She was the daughter of the late Fred G. Hamilton and Carrie Mildred Hardy Hamilton. She enjoyed reading, loved children, and was a school teacher for 30 years before retiring. Ms. Albea was of the Baptist Faith and attended Tignall Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie Hamilton and Johnny Hamilton.
She is survived by one daughter, Genna A. Grimaud (IV), of Washington; one granddaughter, Kaylee Grimaud, Washington; one brother, Tommy Hamilton (Lynne), Winder; one niece, Corrie Massey (James), and their children, Logan and Lena Massey, of Athens; one nephew, Jacob Hamilton, Atlanta; one uncle, Joe Hardy (Pat), of Jefferson; and special friend and caregiver, Rose Hall, Washington.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Tignall Baptist Church with Rev. Adam Denny and Rev. Albert Huyck officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery, 188 Melrose St, Winder, GA 30680. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 PM at Hopkins Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tignall Baptist Church Youth in honor of her love for children, P.O Box 236 Tignall, GA 30668.
