Nellie Lois Ellis
Greensboro - Mrs. Nellie Lois Ellis, 88, of Georgia Highway 15 South Greensboro, GA. entered into rest February 29, 2004. She was the beloved wife of the late Nathan P. Ellis and the daughter of the late George Burton Brock and the late Lula Lourdermilk Brock. Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by a son Richard Burton Ellis. Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by three sisters Jennie B. Hensley, Gay Nell Maxey, Depsey Pedrick. Mrs. Ellis was a native of Fannin County. Mrs. Ellis was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church Union Point, GA. Mrs. Ellis was a member of Greensboro First Baptist Church Golden Tones.
Survivors include one son Don and Elaine Ellis, Greensboro, GA. Two daughters Martha and Ray Copelan, Greensboro, GA, Margie and Dal Cronic, Suwanee, GA. One brother Poley Brock, Greensboro, GA. One sister Marjorie Brock Moore, Greensboro, GA. Grandchildren 6, Great Grandchildren 2.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. March 3, 2004 at Bethesda Baptist Church Union Point, Georgia with Rev. Lem Clark, Rev. Jim Olds officiating. Interment will follow in church cemetery.
Pallbearers: Charles Bryant, Ronnie Ellis, Burt Hensley, Keith Yearwood, Al Griffith Sr., Bud Thornton, Jim Temple.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. The body will be placed in church one hour prior to service.
