Noel Carter Obituary
He served honorably in the US Navy and retired as an engineer with ABB. Noel was a member of St. Mary's Mission Catholic Church in Elberton and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Charlotte Carter; sons, Mark (Shannon) Carter of Spartanburg, SC, Nick (Lynn) Carter of Watkinsville, John (Johna) Carter of Bogart, Laurence Carter of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter, Moira (Jeff) Landrum of Savannah; eight grandchildren; brother, Dennis Carter of Rockford, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebratory mass will be held Friday, April 25, 2008, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Mission Catholic Church in Elberton.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: St. Mary's Hospice House, Athens; St. Mary's Mission Catholic Church, Elberton; or Elbert Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Fund, Elberton.
Bridges Funeral Home, Athens, has charge of arrangements.

Larry and Family: My deepest sympathy goes to you and your family. I lost my mother on December 19, 2007. I hope you will take comfort in knowing that I am praying for you during this most difficult time. The St. Mary's Hopice house was a blessing to my mother and our family. I am sure they were great for Noel too.
