Priscilla Boone Obituary
Born in North Little Rock, Ark., she was the daughter of the late George and Pearl Anders Maddy. She was a member of Winterville First Baptist Church where she was a member of the JOY Sunday School Class. Priscilla was involved with the United Way of Northeast Georgia, the Women's Leadership Circle with United Way, the Scarlet O'Hatters Red Hat Society and the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia.
Survivors include her husband Richard Louis Boone, Sr.; son, Richard Louis Boone, Jr. of Winterville; daughter, Georgina Burns of Henderson, Nev.; sister, Ann Goforth of Alamo, Texas; grandchildren, Sierra Boone, Summer Boone, Courtney Burns, James Burns and Jennifer Burge; and great grandson, Lawson Burge.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2010 at Winterville First Baptist Church with Rev. Palmer Rehberg and Rev. Stan Annandale officiating. Burial will follow at Athens Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends 2-5 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Winterville First Baptist Church, 305 N. Church Street, Winterville, GA 30683.
Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.

Please accept our belated, yet heartfelt condolences. I just yesterday heard about Priscilla's passing while at a meeting in Jacksonville. It has been quite a while since we have been in contact with you at all & I cannot find the words to truly express my thoughts of sympathy for your most profound loss. Know that our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this difficult time. But like all of those you and Priscilla have touched over the years, know that Missy and I are here if you should need anything, or if we can be of service in any way!

Richard, Richie and Gigi I am so very sorry for the loss of your sweet Priscilla. I am also sorry I was not hear.When Ron called to tell me on Friday morning all I could keep saying was I don't believe it. Richard your sweet Prissy and Richie&Gigi your mom was one of the sweetest people I had ever met. I just had lunch with her at the Power of The Purse luncheon. She will be missed by many, many people whose life she touched but I know in my heart that there is a bright new shining STAR in Gods Heaven.
