Thomas Hart Obituary
SHELBY: Thomas Richard Hart, age 29, resident of Shelby, died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at his home.
Born June 19, 1984 in Shelby, he had been a Shelby resident the majority of his life.
He was a 2002 graduate of Shelby Senior High School and a graduate of Ohio State University. He was employed with the Time Warner Cable Company. Tom loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his nieces, Layla and Lydia.
Survivors include his parents, Michael and Debra (Utz) Hart of Shelby; brother, Jeff (Jen) Hart of Westerville; sister, Meg (Brandon) Soller of Lewis Center; his grandmother, Elinore Hart of Shelby; two nieces, Layla and Lydia Hart; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend, Jennifer Fraley.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph Hart and Richard and Joanne Utz; and cousin Billy Zehner.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday September 24, 2013 from the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Pastor Dave Davenport of the Faith Baptist Church will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Memorial expressions may be made in care of: Faith Baptist Church Awana Club, 3216 Park Ave. W., Ontario, Ohio 44906.

Thoughts and prayers go out to your family during this difficult time. Tom always had the ability to put a smile on our faces even when we were upset with him for something silly he did in class. We feel blessed that we got to share in a small portion of his life.

I am thinking of the Hart family at this terrible time. Hoping that in time your loss will be eventually less painfull. Wish things would have went differently for Tom. He was far to young. He was a true charmer with an infectious smile. He will always be remembered by everyone who knew him. What a great guy raised by a wonderful family. I am so sorry for the loss of Tom! I do know how you feel and I am truly praying that the Lord gives you comfort during this very difficult and terrible time. This is a parents worst nightmare. If I can be of any help in any way feel free to call 419-545-1016.
I cannot tell you it will get better all I can say is that there are days that it is tolerable. Nothing in my life has been as bad as losing my son Jesse. I will pray for you daily, it is the only thing that gets me through this. Once again I am sorry. Thoughts and prayers for you Linda Tabor
