James Granger Obituary

Mr. James Howard "Hal" Granger, age 65, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, at his home.
He was born Jan. 5, 1957, in Chester, S.C., a son of Barbara Goins Williams and the late Lawrence Granger. He was the husband of Teresa "Gail" Gaston Granger. Hal enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, watching his son dirt track race and working on the car he raced in. Family was very important to him and he loved spending time with them, especially his grandson, Logan. Hal was a Mason and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Great Falls.
Hal is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gail Granger; his son, Jamie Granger (Heather); his grandson, Logan; his mother, Barbara Williams; a brother, Terry Granger (Terri); his sister, Toni Looper; and several nieces and nephews.
Hal was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Granger; and a brother, Larry Granger.
The Celebration of Life Service for Hal was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Great Falls, S.C. officiated by Rev. J.D. Wilson and Rev. Patrick Blackmon. Burial followed at the church cemetery.
For those who wish, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Bus/Van Fund, 6924 Wateree Road, Great Falls, SC 29055.
