Joshua Anderson Ellisor

Joshua Anderson Ellisor, 30, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at First Baptist Church Chester with Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating. Interment followed at Cedar Shoals Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family received friends from 1 to 2 p.m., also Saturday, Nov. 15 at First Baptist Church Chester.
Joshua was born Oct. 23, 1995, in Salisbury, N.C. and was the son of Rembert Anderson Ellisor Jr. and Teresa Lynn Waldrop Ellisor. He was a graduate of Richard Winn Academy and attended York Tech. He was currently employed with Walmart and previously worked with IGA and Food Lion. Joshua was an accomplished musician having mastered the drums, acoustic, bass, and electric guitar and played in a local band with his friends for special functions and activities. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he played guitar and drums with the youth praise band.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Ben and Martha Waldrop; aunts and uncles, Lisa and Frank Rivers, Ben and Tiffani Waldrop; cousins, Hannah Rivers Fultz (Christian), Mary-Carolina Waldrop Sanford (Tyler) and Owen Waldrop; he was preceded in death by his brother, Caleb Rembert Ellisor and his paternal grandparents, Rem and Bobbie Ann Ellisor.
