I used to introduce Dr Campbell as "my dads old boss" until he corrected me one day and said "No, Im your dads old friend"..... and he was a good friend. Im sorry to hear of his passing.

Bill and I work closely together for close to 20 years. I was his central office representative who had to talk to him frequently and visit the Glenwood institution. His goal as administrator at Glenwood was always to provide nothing but excellent services to the people being served. I use to joke I had to go to the gym at the school to talk with him while he was running. Bill we have - to talk about - your budget. He was totally committed to the institution and the persons being served. Im sure at times he felt that we from Des Moines got in his way in what he thought needed to be done. But we were able to work closely together and keep in mind that the persons we were serving were the important people when it came right down to it. I retired almost 21 years ago that still think frequently of Bill.
