Bruce Franklin Obituary

BRUCE WALTER FRANKLIN DEC 3, 1947-MAR 19, 2003 At the age of 55, Bruce Walter Franklin will be remembered as a loving husband to his wife, Norma Jean Franklin of thirty-three years, and dedicated father to his children, son, Byron W., and daughters, Laurie Ann and Melissa Jean. Also survived by his mother, Gladys Frances Franklin, three brothers, Ryan Craig, Paul Douglas, and Mark Edward and sister Virginia Lynn, along with several nephews and nieces. Bruce was born in Long Beach, Ca. on December 3, 1947, to Byron Wesley and Gladys Frances Franklin. He was raised in Whittier, and has resided and worked in Anaheim for the pass 33 years. He is remembered as a tool and die maker who supervised mechanics and electricians for 26 years. He spent 4 years of these years at Delphi Automotive and 22 years for Delco Remy, a division of General Motors. He was greatly admired and will be dearly missed by his peers and co-workers. Bruce fought a courageous battle against the deadliest of foes. Diagnosed in May 2002 with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. He out lived every doctor's expectations by reaching his 33rd Wedding Anniversary in October, his 55th birthday in December, Christmas, and all of his children's birthday in January. He will be remember for his sense of humor, dedication and unconditional love to his family.
