Doanld Rickabaugh Obituary

Rickabaugh, Dr. Doanld E., 87 years old, of Costa Mesa, CA. passed away after a long illness on Saturday 23 of 2010. One Day short of his 88th Birthday. He was born in Los Angeles CA and was son of the late Homer B. Rickabaugh and Willeta M. Maxson Rickabaugh. He served in the US Military on the stateside. He was a 1945 graduate of Loma Linda University School of Medicine where he was certified as Physician and Surgeon Certificate. He worked as a Family practice physician in Newport Beach and retired from private practice in 2004. His love of the arts was close to his heart. Was a member of the OC Performance Art Center, Laguna Play house, Friends of Griffith Observatory, 552 Club Hoag Hospital, Oxford Club. He was a devoted and compassionate doctor. He has passion for reading, classic music; love the sea, and a full moon. Surviving in addition to his wife of 10 years, Mireya Rickabaugh are his twin sisters and brother; children; grandchildren, great- grandchildren; nieces; nephews and loving friends. Funeral Services will be held at Pacific View Park and Mortuary, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona del Mar, CA 92627. Saturday 30th of October at 2:00pm.

Dear Mireya and Odette,
It was such an honor to be Dr. Rickabaugh's home health nurse for the past few years. He was a joy to care for. I enjoyed his views on politics and life in general. I miss him. You both have given so much of yourselves during his lengthy illness.
