George Christopher Mills
Yes, we have lost one of, if not THE, greatest human beings on this planet, our son, brother, uncle, friend and colleague George Christopher Mills. Georgie, who turned 51 on November 29 2021, worked for over 28 years at Albertson's and spent his days off helping his mother (whom he loved with all his heart) with her babysitting kids (over the years he changed more diapers than most moms or dads!). He and his father Ken were best friends who enjoyed cheering on the Ducks, Trojans, Lakers and any number of NFL teams. Georgie's NFL jersey collection remains legendary! Together these three were a force for all that is good and purposefully kept their minds and hearts on ways to help and encourage others. George was very special (of course he would be with that extra chromosome he carried around!). He always lit up a room and made everyone in it feel comfortable and appreciated. He never spoke a mean word against anyone, choosing instead to see the very best in all people and in all situations. He was fearless because he truly loved everyone and everything that is good. Georgie will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. Our entire family now knows what a completely broken heart feels like. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church at 11:00am on Saturday, January 15. St. John's is located at 185 S. Center St., Orange CA 92866.

My sister crystal and I were babysat at the Mills for many years. When my mom would pick us up George would hurry to her car and lock the door so we could not leave. Laughing inside the car with that contagious smile beaming on his face. This memory has brought a smile to our faces. George was truly one of a kind. What a blessing it was for us to have known him. RIP. He will remain in our hearts forever.
