Janis Miller

1939 - 2021

Janis Miller passed away peacefully on May 24, 2021. She was born in Seattle, WA on June 22, 1939, to Herbert and Margaret Nelson. Jan graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Over the years, she worked in a number of different professions, including as a teacher's aide, weight loss counselor, and real estate agent, but the most important job to her was raising her four children. Also a gifted artist, Jan shared her talent by drawing numerous paintings and sketches and then giving her completed artwork to many of her friends and family as a gift. She is survived by her children Laura, Debra, Jay, and Jeff; her nephew Don; her niece Melinda; her grandchildren Matt, Dylan, Cameron, Jillian, Bradley, Donovan, and Ava; and her great-grandson Noah. A kind and tender-hearted mother, grandmother, and friend, Jan will be dearly missed. Services will be held at Hephatha Lutheran Church in Anaheim, CA on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. For details, please send a message to jtwakefield@roadrunner.com
