I got the pleasure of being a student of hers when she taught at Katella. My favorite memories happened in that classroom and outside of it, from all of the school banquets and events I´ll always cherish those. She helped me get through some of the roughest parts of my life as a young person that I´ll never forget.

To all of Maria's family and friends: I know we will all miss her every day, she was a lovely, kind, caring, and generous person, and I treasure the time I had with her although it was all too brief. Vaya con Dios my dear, give Judy a big hug for me...
