MICHAEL SANTA CRUZ Obituary
Michael Allen Santa Cruz was born to Michael and Jennet Santa Cruz on February 26, 1945, and passed away on September 25, 2015 at the age of 70. He graduated from Mater Dei in 1963, and later earned his Bachelor's degree at Cal Poly Pomona in 1968. After college Mike earned his teaching credentials and taught at Bolsa Grande High School from 1972 - 1981. Mike loved and played football throughout High School and College and coached at Bolsa Grande. An avid sportsman, quick witted and easy to get to know. He was loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.

I just heard about his passing. My mom and I had been trying to reach out to him over the years to say hello. He was a good man with a great laugh :) My prayers are with his family.

I was a class mate at Mater Dei High School. Glad he had a positive influence on youth and shared our mutual interest in secondary education. Sorry not to have heard the news sooner but it was passed on to me by a sibling still in Orange County.

Mr. Santa Cruz was one of my favorite teachers. The Bolsa Grande class of 1978 loved him!! Godspeed Mr. Santa Cruz.
