Patricia Prince Obituary

Patricia Gayle Prince (Pat), of Lake Elsinore, California, quietly passed away on October 5, 2022, with family members by her side. Pat was born in Evansville, Indiana, to Huley and Marjorie Philpott in 1944. Her family moved to Santa Ana, California when Pat was a teenager. She graduated from Santa Ana Valley High School, where she met her best friend, Judy. Judy introduced Pat to Judy's brother, Richard Prince (Dick). Dick and Pat fell in love and married in 1963. Over the course of their nearly 60-year marriage, Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She gave up her opportunity to go to college so that she could work and support Dick as he earned his college degree. She continued to work as a legal secretary for 20 years in Corona and Norco, while also raising their children. Pat loved music and dancing, tole painting, making greeting cards for her family and friends, video poker, and cooking and baking. Most of all, she loved Dick and her family. Pat leaves behind her husband, Dick; her two younger brothers, Russell Philpott and Norman Wayne Philpott; her four children, Rick Prince, Teresa Barron, Kerri Shimer, and Bob Prince; her 11 grandchildren, Richard, Andrew, Christopher, Justin, Cherity, April, Vance, Megan, Shelby, Lily, and Taelor; and her eight great-grandchildren, Henry, Hazel, Aine, Keela, Leland, Rosie, Liliana, and Haylee.
