Sandy was such a great man! He was always there with a smile and a joke. I have extremely fond memories of him from the play "Catch a Falling Star." He taught me so much about work and life! He was and always will be my "Granddaddy!" I love you Sandy.

I was sadden to hear about Sandy. What a great man and father he was to my very dear friend Sheryl. I will always remember when Sheryl came to town and my daughter along with Shaunte and Sheryl went to hang out with Sandy and friends in OC. He made us all laugh and it was an enjoyable time for all of us. You will never be forgotten. Our prayers are with you and your family, extended family and friends.

Warmly,

My Dad came into my life when I was just 13. I loved right away how good he was to my mother-it didnt matter that he cared about her kids, but he did, he loved us too-and he adopted us in 1977. Finally we had a Dad that made us feel loved, and safe and warm. He took us camping and fishing, tought us to drive-and made us laugh. We will always remember the love he had for us and our mother. I have treasured memories of him proudly walking me down the isle at my wedding. I remember all the trips to the donut shop with my kids (there favorite memory)And he always loved hearing about Shawntes music and Johns football. We loved him with all our hearts and will miss him in our lives. Sherryl

Sandy, you will be remembered well and missed by me and my family. You were kind and giving, a great guy, so full of love and life, and boy, did you love the kids! Casey will fondly remember cruising in your RV to IHOP and the beach with Taylor and Cody. Irene, I know you must miss him dearly. We are all sorry for your great loss.

God bless,

Colleen, Dennis & Casey

I have many found memories of Sandy as I was growing up . . . my best friend's father. I will especially treasure the memory of the time as a teenager when Sandy took Sherry and I to the set of Dallas to watch him film.

He will be missed by many.
