Though I never met Christina Vaeretti in person, I am blessed to know her son Bill, who is such a fine example of a man of excellent character, kindness and intelligence that I can see his devotion to his mother and hers to him as a mark of inherited goodness and loving nurture. I thank God for her because I thank God for her son Bill, as well as his wife Gina, an equally stellar human being who was also devoted to Chris, especially offering her loving care toward the end of her life.

I am very sorry to hear of Mrs Vaeretti's passing. I was one of her and Mr. V's students in Guam in 1990. They were very good people. May she rest in peace.

I was lucky enough to meet Chris in Guam at one of her favorite places, the beach. We taught together at the same high school. Chris became a part of our family. She will forever be in our hearts. Our deepest sorrow goes out to her family. Love you, Rachel Curry

A Blessing for Chris ~Soulboat~
May you be launched in fair weather, with the wind at your back and the shining stars streaming you through the whole map of heaven. May your strong sails of bright silk billow proud and free with the sun's golden blessing, and carry you, safe and well and all the way Home.
With Loving Prayers for Chris's cherished family.

To Howard, Gina snd Bill Vaeretti amd family and friends,
I am holding you and Chris in my heart
as she leaves you to continue her journey in the next world.
I first met Chrus when Gina, my daughter, married Bil. Years earler.
during the early days of their romance,
Gina shared with me her enthusiasm for
Chris and the brood of adorable children.
I hope that the blessing of the years you shared will be a comfott to you now.
i had looked forward to getting to know Chris better but it seems I will also need to wait until the next world.
In the meantime, I close,
With eternal love,
Pesha (Joyce Getler)

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Chris when Bill married Gina. Although this would be our only meeting, I was struck by her warmth and kindness. She shared stories of her trip(s?) to Guam and seemed pleased and awed by the friendliness of the people she met. I can only imagine how many hearts she touched during her many travels and how many of those hearts are now broken. I send my love to her children and husband. Chris was a great Lady.

Chris was a wonderful person that I had the pleasure of following her footprints in the sands of time from High School. Although she was a "Little" ahead of me she left Howard behind to teach me typing. Now always remember the good of her life.

She was a very dear woman and friend to me. I enjoyed her presence and her warmth. She was a joy in my life and I will miss her greatly. We wrote letters yearly and shared family ties. I pray for her to be at peace and for peace to the loved ones she cared deeply for. She was "one in a lifetime" woman. My life will be forever changed for having her in mine. Rest in peace Chris and May God Bless your soul. Deepest condolences to all family and friends.
