Isabella Sartori Obituary

Isabella Josephine Sartori, 82, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, in King City, Oregon. Born on December 11, 1942, Isabella's life was a graceful composition of family, education, and adventure.
A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Isabella found her greatest joy in the embrace of her family. She is lovingly remembered by her sons Christopher and Benjamin; her grandchildren Jake, Hannah, Sasha, Calvin, and Owen-each a cherished note in the song of her life. Her daughter-in-laws Ashlie and Tamari were embraced as if they were her own.
Isabella was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania during the early days of World War II to her Italian parents, John and Carmella. At a young age, she was given the nickname "Cookie" due to her love of sweets. After marriage, she had stops along the way in Minnesota and eventually Escondido, California where she spent most of her adult life running a successful business until retirement brought her to Portland.
Isabella had a deep fondness for classic films and music. The silver screen's timeless stories stirred her imagination while melodies filled her home with warmth. She was also a terrific chef, cooking Italian dishes that her children now tremendously miss. Her lifelong love of learning sent her back to college in her 40s to earn her Associates Degree in Psychology. And then in her late 60s she returned to Portland State University to further her studies. These passions of hers were not mere pastimes but threads woven into the fabric of who she was.
To those who knew her, Isabella offered quiet strength and unwavering friendship. She always took the time to get to know people no matter who they were. To her children, she was the heart of the family who provided unwavering love and affection.
She lived everyday to the fullest. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her. We miss you, grandma.
