Dear Zuber family members and friends:
I'm saddened to learn of Andy's death. Andy was kind to me at PSU; we shared a room at the fraternity house. I will offer Mass for him, entrusting him to Jesus, and will pray for you. May the angels lead him into paradise.
Sincerely, Fr. Brian Lynch

Boomer Zuber, I'm broken hearted....you will remain in my heart forever. No one ever gave me as much hell as you did! Your cousins on the Zuber side and the Stoffa and side were two of my dearest friends....but you were always my favorite....don't tell Tim or Dave that! Lol. I will think of you always....can still see you bouncing that basket ball in the back alley. Love you Boom.

To the Zuber family,

I was a friend of Boomer's in high school. We lost touch since those days, so if it is a shock to me, I am sure that it's an earthquake to you all. My heart goes out to you for what must be a heartbreaking, gut wrenching loss.
(A little story... he was my first crush. When I was 14, I carried his class photo around with me everywhere. We dated briefly after graduation.)
May your memories comfort you. I hope you don't mind if I share one of mine. I looked at what he wrote in my yearbook senior year. It is attached.
My sincerest, deepest sympathy,
Maureen "Shaff" Shaffron- PV Class of '84

So sorry to hear about the passing of Boomer. I remember him as a focused and driven person; and remember how hard he worked in school, with basketball, and with the drumline. I have a lot of fond memories of him from high school--on the band bus, at band practice, hanging at "the lot", and making the Panther radio show in the AV room of the high school library. I was speaking with "The Fox" earlier this evening(anyone from the Panther Valley High School class of 1984 knows who that is),and we were remembering a lot of comical situations in high school that included the larger than life personality of Boomer. I am so sad to hear that he passed way too soon, and my deepest sympathy to his whole family. I know he is at peace and I hope his family receives the gift peace during this horrible time. I haven't spoken to Andy in almost 30 years, but his passing is a shot to the heart. I marched with Andy in the Blue Band, and he was a great guy and a great musician. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

Boomer, You always had a warm heart and were a good friend. Your smile always showed who you were deep down inside. Will always remember the great guy you were in high school, watching you play the drum, and laughing at your graduation party. Hope you got the best out of your short life because you deserved it. Rest in peace until we meet again. Your friend, Stephenie
