Arthur Vincent Forman

Forman, Arthur Vincentof Winter Park, FL died peacefully at home on Monday, August 26, 2013 after 82 years of extraordinary life. He was born in Astoria, Long Island, NY, the seventh child of Irish immigrants. Art was an Air Force veteran who moved to Winter Park, FL in 1968 and worked as a project engineer developing flight simulators at the Naval Training Equipment Center in Orlando, FL. He was pre-deceased by his first wife of 35 years, Ann Gee Forman, the mother of his four sons. He is survived by his sons Arthur Jr., Michael, Robert and James Forman, and by 8 grandchildren. In 1998 Art married Mary Coombs Forman. He is survived by Mary, his wife of 15 years, her 3 sons Paul, John, and Chris Coombs, and 6 grandchildren who lovingly called him "Sir Arthur". In his retirement, he enjoyed traveling with Mary, being a grandfather, playing golf, and repairing computers for friends and for charity. Art was a faithful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a devout Catholic who was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will occur at 6:30 pm Thursday, August 29, 2013, and a funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 30, 2013, both at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
