Arthur Roche Jr.

Roche, Jr., Arthur 85, Longwood, FL, passed away on January 3, 2014. Mr. Roche was born in Hartford, CT, to Arthur F. Roche and Mary Pugh Roche. Mr. Roche was a 1951 graduate of Trinity College and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was married for 52 years to Ellen O'Flaherty Roche, deceased in 2004. Following retirement from Aetna Insurance, Arthur worked as a financial consultant. He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church, the Winter Park Rotary Club, and was a past Commander of the Seminole Power Squadron. Arthur (Artie) is survived by his four children, Gary Roche (Susanna) of Orlando, Jeffery Roche of Maitland, Ellen Jane Annis (Jeff) of Orlando, and Arthur F. Roche, III (Elizabeth) of Atlanta; a sister Mary Alice Roche of Altamonte Springs; nine grandchildren, Kenneth Roche, Shannon Roche Rosen, Samantha Roche, Veronica Roche, William Roche, Jeffrey Annis, Jr., Margaret Annis, Arthur Roche, IV, John Roche and one great grandson, Shaun Rosen. The family will receive visitors at a memorial service on Sunday, January 12 from 2-5 p.m. at Baldwin-Fairchild West Altamonte The funeral mass will Monday, January 13, 2014 at 9:30 a.m., Annunciation Catholic Church in Longwood with Father Stephen Baumann officiating.
