Cecil Rice Obituary

Rice, Cecil 89 of Orlando, Florida, passed away June 24, 2015. Cecil Rice was born July 4, 1925 in Madison County, North Carolina. Mr. Rice served in the US Navy during World War ll as a Pharmacist Mate. He and his wife Betty Jean, married for 67 years, moved to Orlando in 1954 from North Carolina. Cecil was a 32nd degree Mason and Active member of Delaney Street Baptist Church since 1961, honored as a Deacon Emeritus. Florida territory manager with PPG industries for 37 years, Cecil retired in 1991. Cecil was a devoted family man, loyal friend, and avid outdoorsman. Mr. Rice is survived in death by his wife Betty J. Rice, sons David Rice and John Rice. Daughter in-law Patsy Rice, and his two granddaughters Amanda Rice and Taylor Rice. Services held at Delaney Street Baptist Church, 11:30am, Monday June 29th 2015. Family visitation will begin at 10:30am.
