Being a secretary in the Office of the Judge, I came in contact with Dan Wiser through the years that I have been here many a time and count him as one of the most pleasant, friendly and sometimes, funny people that I have met. I had great respect for him and I know his family and friends will all miss him very much.

I hope those "Yellow Jackets" know they have a big angel on the field now! My husband always greeted Dan as the Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech. This always elicited a big grin and a witty retort about Fred's Virginia Tech Hokies. We were privileged to know Dan when he worked with our son in Tallahassee and Jacksonville. By his quiet example he exerted influence and commanded respect. We'll miss him!

Dan was one of the first attorneys that I met 6 years ago when I started working at the Judge of Compensations Claims office. I was the receptionist and Dan made me feel like an "old" part of the team there. He was always funny and had a kind word for me and others. I will miss him walking into the office and greeting me with his smile.

My sympathies are with his family.

Respectfully, Noreen Lusco (District Clerk for Judge Ivy Harris, JAX)

I worked on the other side of workers'comp cases with Dan. He was a fine attorney, but more importently, a fine man. He always seemed to keep things in good perspective and never let work get in the way of good humor. I will miss his friendly, kind, and unpretentious way. I will miss him.

Dan-

Although we crossed swords professionally, your sense of humor and quick wit outside the courtroom always put a lighter note to things. You will be missed.

I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Dan's death. Actually, I was previously disappointed to hear that Dan had retired and I didn't have a chance to wish him well in the future. Dan was a very good man. I always enjoyed listening to his legal adventures. He will truly be missed.

We are so sorry for your loss; Daniel was a wonderful neighbor. Since his retirement he had been coming to sit on the porch with my husband; they shared an interest in golf. They had planned to play on his return from Atlanta. I will miss talking to him, we met at the mailbox I made him talk to me...he was very quiet, but he finally knew if he came to the box while I was out we talked...he was very funny and a pleasure to be around. He will be missed.
