Debra Makayla Tweedy, passed on July 29, 2007. She is survived and missed by her parents, Chet and Tiffany Tweedy Jr.; brother, Chet Tweedy III; grandparents, Bessie Tweedy and Robert McCartney, Chet Tweedy Sr. and Nora Tweedy, Denise Payton and George Strickland. She is missed as well by her great grandparents Chester and Brenda Tweedy, Lois Neeley, Jeannette and Frenchie Fortin and Margie Strickland. Debra is also dearly missed by many uncles, aunts and cousins and by her special aunt, Dawn Ping for all the love and care she provided helping nana with Makayla. The family will receive friends at the Baldwin Fairchild Apopka Chapel on Thursday from 12-2PM, with a Funeral Service beginning at 2PM. In lieu of flowers, the Tweedy family has asked that donations be made to Florida Hospital in honor of Makayla. The Pediatric Progressive Care & Oncology Unit at Florida Children's Hospital was like her second home, and Makayla's doctors, nurses, and Child Life specialists became like family.
