Delores Short Obituary
Dee was an avid tennis player and golfer who also shared numerous adventures with her husband, LTC Robert E. Short, many of which included extended stays in exotic locales including Munich, Germany, Jubail, Saudi Arabia and the U.K. She traveled and lived throughout the world including a special trip to Sweden to visit the "Old Country."
Bob and Dee celebrated 62 anniversaries until his passing in early 2017. Dee passed peacefully at home on April 26, 2021 and is now joining her loving husband in Arlington National Cemetery.
In addition to Carolyn and Charlie (and his wife Kara), Dee is survived by six grandchildren: Phoebe Short (23), Camryn Short (22), Spencer Short (20), Samantha Short (18), Brian Peterson (33) and Evan Peterson (28). Dee had a wonderful life and will be dearly missed by all. Arrangements entrusted to Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Directors, Eustis, FL. Condolences may be shared at www.HamlinHilbish.com
