Edward Bookhardt Obituary

Commander, Edward Lee Bookhardt, USN (retired) of Orlando, FL died December 15, 2020 at age 90. Ed was a former SeaBee with 30+ year's active duty (Korean and Vietnam War). He worked his way up through the ranks from Seaman Recruit. After retirement, Ed became a nationally-recognized watercolor artist. He also enjoyed writing tales of his many Navy adventures.

Ed is survived by his children Greg, Debbie and Gary. A memorial service will be held for Ed and his wife, Jacqueline (who passed in 2018) on November 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
