Dr. Emil Fordyce Mourier Felski

Dr. Emil Fordyce Mourier Felski went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 19, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil Mourier Felski, Clareece Fordyce Felski, and Sister Rochelle Garrett. He is survived by his loving family and wife, Terri Nesbit and sisters Jane Thompson of Houston and Bonnie Sells of Austin, TX. Step daughters Amy Golay (Patrick), Tasha Russell (John Romanus), Natalie Bowles (David), four grandchildren, Colin and Chase Russell, Ella and Cohen Bowles. Emil was a Salutatorian at Weirton High School of the Class of 1962 where he played football and ran track. He attended college at WVU from 1962-1966. From there he went on to Medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine from 1966-1971. He interned at Flint Michigan Osteopathic Hospital from 1971-1972 and completed his OB/GYN residency from 1972-1975 at UF (GO GATORS!!!). From 1975-1977 he was a Major in the USAF. He was stationed at Carswell AFB in Fort Worth, TX. Emil dedicated 43 years of his life from 1977-2020 as an OB/GYN physician in a private practice located in Orlando, FL. From 2020-2022 he was the Medical Director of Innovative Healthy Aging at which time he retired to the Island of Tierra Verde. He was a thoughtful, humorous, caring,and adventurous man who enjoyed skiing, scuba diving, tennis, and racquetball. He loved traveling the world not only with his wife but with his loving family and friends. He loved reading, extremely spicy food, and his beloved UF football. Services are going to be held privately by the family.
