Francisco Vazquez Obituary

VAZQUEZ, FRANCISCO,
Orlando businessman Francisco "Frankie" Vazquez, Jr. passed away on Saturday,
November 12, at age 45. He is survived by his mother Julia Vazquez, father Francisco Vazquez, Sr., and sister Jeanette Ramirez-Vazquez. Frankie's colorful wardrobe and dynamic personality always brought a smile to all. He was a loyal friend and tireless worker who instilled a fierce loyalty in his co-workers. He enjoyed participating in sports like softball and boxing. Frankie will be long remembered as a loving son, brother, and friend, as well as a leader in business and community. He will be greatly missed. Born in Flushing, New York, Frankie grew up in the same building of entrepreneur Lou Pearlman. His career began in the world of aviation. He traveled the world working at Airship International, LTD, a public company that provided blimps for Fortune 500 companies such as McDonald's, Sea World, Budweiser, Tommy Hilfiger and Met Life. He started as an aircraft mechanic, then crew chief and then operations manager for the Company. He then obtained his commercial pilot rating. From aviation to corporate America, Frankie became Vice President of Production for Shape CD. The company dealt with cutting CDs in different shapes for Fortune 500 companies, including American Express, Budweiser, Coca Cola, Polaroid, Bacardi and Motorola, manufacturing five million CDs. When Pearlman created Trans Continental Companies, Frankie was named Vice President of Operations directly overseeing logistics, security, website development and graphics. He added Property Manager to his title when Pearlman became owner of historic Church Street Station, an entertainment, dining, office and retail destination. In addition, he was Managing Member for the Exchange News Café, Exchange Lounge, the Cigar & Wine Club and Pearl Steakhouse. Frankie was known as the "Un-Official Mayor" of Church Street Station. Family and friends will gather today at Family Funeral Care on 13001 South John Young Parkway from Noon to 2PM with a Mass following at 2:30PM at Holy Cross Church, located at 12600 Marsfield Avenue. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in his name to the American Diabetes Association.

Frankie the world has less brilliance without you in it. I will forever remember our times in Michigan and Orlando. You had a way of making everyone around you feel special. I will always remember the admiration and love you had for your parents. When you spoke of them your face lit up! May God grant them peace. Heaven is a more joyous place with your presence. Rest in Peace

Querido primo Frankie:

I met Frankie thru my girlfriends who praised his virtues. He was quick to live up to the occasion, hosts of all hosts, he did everything in grandeur. I was blessed to make his acquaintance and in our last conversation he spoke of the love of his mother, who I know there will be a void that can only be filled with memories of a son that was devoid of selfishness and full of love for everyone.
May the heavens open their Pearly gates to welcome you home so you can be the guardian angel for all you've left behind.
