Frank Ballentine Obituary

BALLENTINE, SR., FRANK T., 86, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2008. He was born on July 3, 1921 in Monroe, NC. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Mr. Ballentine served as a flying sergeant and a glider pilot. He moved to Florida in 1963 where he later owned and operated a successful business with his wife, Jo Ann. He was an active member of his church and served as a deacon for many years. Through his years of service to his country and his community, Mr. Ballentine was a family man, having lived his life as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann of 61 years; his children Frank Jr. (Linda), daughter Linda Mitchell (James), son Ronald, and four granddaughters. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 19 at 10AM immediately followed by a service at 11AM at the First Baptist Church of Longwood in Longwood, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mr. Ballentine's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org. Please view and sign our guestbook at:
