CLAY LOWREY, WAS A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE AT CORAL GABLES HIGH SCHOOL, IN THE 1957 1958.. HE WAS ALWAYS A HAPPY KIND PERSON. AND IN READING WHAT OTHER PEOPLE WROTE HE WAS THAT SWEET KIND OF SOUL ALWAYS...I KNOW THAT JULIE CRAIG, BARBARA ROSHER AND HARRIET SCHMIDT ALSO WISH TO EXPRESS THE PASSING OF A DEAR PERSON.

Dearest Gail and Family,

Some of my fondest memories in Orlando were with the Lowry family. Sunday chili, many Young Women meetings and Clay was always in the middle of it all. His joyous nature will be missed by all. I know you will be blessed with added strength in the days ahead and an extra measure of comfort when needed. We are all thinking of you and praying for you. With much love, Sarah (Frankhouser) Webster

Sister Lowry and Family:

Our love goes out to you and your family at this time. I have many fond memories of Clay. He was a real mentor in Church, fascinating Seminary Teacher for Travis and always greeted us with a smile and a handshake. We will miss Clay very much! Please know that you can call on us at anytime!

Having formerly lived in Orlando, my son and I were introduced to the imposing personalities of Brother and Sister Lowry. When you got to know them, both had their strictness and their jolliness. Brother Lowry included Jonas in Scouts, Father-Son campouts, made him feel included and me, during an apparent couples only dance (singles we know they all seem that way) took me into those big teddy bear arms, laughed like Santa, all because Sister Lowry told him to. Gail, you are a strong woman. Know that Clay will continue to stand steadfast beside you. And kids, you are VERY blessed to have the parents that you have! Thoughts and prayers...

Love, Denise and Jonas Boyd

We're so sorry to hear of your family's loss. We just saw Clay at Albertson's in July with April's lovely daughter. Please know that our prayers are with your family as you endure this challenge. You guys were such a great example for our little family when we first got married and your kindness to us will never be forgotten - or the fun we had at your home during those choir practices. It was so fun to learn that Clay and I were cousins. We love you Gail and family. Aren't we all so thankful families can be together forever?!

Love,

Steve and Dinah

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Clay's death. He was a wonderful friend to Bob and I when we were first married and he hired Bob to work for his company. That was such a blessing in our lives and we got to know the Lowry family better. Clay made an impact in our lives that will never be forgotten. We send our heartfelt condolences to Gail and the family. Take care, we love you. We'll see him again in the twinkling of an eye. Bob and Barbara John, Alexandria, VA 22315
