I was truly sorry to hear about the loss of Jacob. I cannot even imagine the pain and heartbreak that follows. I do commend you on trying to turn a tragedy into hopefully a happy ending for maybe another family. Beginning a charitable foundation is one of the most selfless thing you could do under the circumstances.

Greg & Lisa,
I thought the whole weekend about you and what I would say, well I came to the fact, that saying sorry doesnt replace anything, and telling you that its the path that god wanted isnt going to explain why. So I just wanted to hug you, and I think that said everything I could have truly wanted to say. I as a mother could say that I can only imagine the feelings you have at this point, and yet still I dont. You are in our thoughts and I wanted you to know that I will keep you in my prayers. The times spent are the times to cherish. I wish you strenght and more love than you ever thought you could have.

Our family's heartfelt prayers go out to your family at such a terrible loss. As humans and mortals, we often struggle to "understand" God's plan for each of us when such tragedies occur. Rather, we should just have great faith that God, today, embraces Jacob Neil in His loving arms for all eternity. Jacob Neil is, today, where we ALL strive to be at the hour of our own passing. For that, we can only rejoice for little Jacob Neil's homecoming to God.
May God bless you, your family, and your friends throughout this difficult time. Our daily thoughts, prayers, and Mass intentions will be with you all for a long time.
