Jeffrey Triplett Obituary

Jeff passed away on 2/27/2021 surrounded by his family. He battled lung cancer and cluster headaches. He was a resident and former Mayor of the city of Sanford, Fl.

He is survived by his sons, Riley C Triplett and Chase M Triplett of Lake Mary, FL, partner, Ada Reneau, and children, Joey and Chloe of Sanford, FL. Mother, Carolyn Foley Springfield, MO, Father, Kenneth Triplett and wife Dee Anna Triplett of Springfield, MO Brother, Kent Triplett and wife Michelle Triplett of Peoria, AZ and son Taylor Triplett of Peoria, AZ.

Jeff was born in St. Louis, MO on 1/24/1969 and moved to Florida in 1992. He graduated from Missouri Southern University with a degree in Psychology

Jeff was an avid golfer and Mayfair Golf Club in Sanford, FL was his favorite place to play. He was active in the restoration and improvements of the Club House and the course. If you ever played golf with Jeff, you had to be ready for heckling and spirited banter.

He was very active in his children's athletic activities.

The family would like to send a thank you to all of the medical teams who attended to Jeff during his fight.

Jeff asked for a private family ceremony followed by a gathering with family and friends at Buster's Bistro in Sanford FL on Thursday 3/4/21 starting at 5:30pm.

The family has asked that donations be sent to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
