Jerry-My dearest and best friend for 75 plus years.
With his strong Christian faith, the way he lived and talked, his confidence and peace with life, people looked up to him. He was not a boastful person, nor did he seek acclaim or attention. Jerry had a way of making a point or giving helpful advice, not by directing it to an individual, but making it applicable to many. I'm ever so grateful that our friendship endured through all of life's experiences we shared.

Jerry was my godfather at Asbury United Methodist Church. He was at my baptism and confirmation, and he was a great role model for me. I lost touch with Jerry & Barbara in my high school and college years, but it all came full circle when I had the privilege to serve with him as a discussion group leader in BSF. Jerry planted so many seeds with young people through the years and the fruits of those labors will continue for generations. What an awesome man!

Jerry Cloud and the Cloud family have been close friends to three generations of the Francisco family for 75 years. It began back at OHS and has stayed strong until today. We will continue to remember and miss Jerry as we do with all our family that are no longer with us today (they are together now in a better place). He was such a kind, gentle soul and was an inspiration to us all. We are praying for the Cloud family as we know how it feels to lose someone so special. Attached is a photo of the "motley" crew that would so often flock to the Cloud's hunting grounds.

I am very sorry to hear of Jerry´s passing. Our families have known each other and been friends for a great many years. Jerry was a strong leader in the Citrus Industry and a strong Christian. I will always remember Jerry with a huge smile on my heart. Jerry was a great friend of my father´s and was, in fact, in my mother and father´s wedding. I´ve known Jerry since I was a little boy and also had the privilege of working with (for) him as a client and friend through my dad. Since my dad passed away in 1994, Jerry continued to reach out to me with business, which turned into a great friendship. He became one of the men from my dad´s generation that I could rely on for friendship and advice. He was a solid man of faith whom I will always treasure in my heart. Godspeed, Jerry!

Jerry and I became acquainted through the Water Conserv Project and the Mid Florida Citrus Foundation. Once meeting Jerry, I soon realized he was a modest man who spoke thoughtfully and had excellent listening skills. Interactions with Jerry were always a fine experience. I am grateful for having met him and his company and wisdom.
