John Biesnecker Obituary

After a short illness, John William Biesnecker died on May 15, 2021 in Marianna, Florida surrounded by people who love him. He was 67.

Originally from Lake Worth, Florida, he lived in Winter Springs, Florida from 1986 to 2007, and still has many friends in the Central Florida area.

John was a genuinely good person. He was kind and funny and hardworking and selfless. He didn't have an ego or a competitive streak, he just wanted to do his part and get the job done. He could have a temper but he was never mean, and he adored his family and would do anything for them.

He loved the Cardinals and the Dolphins and the Gators. He loved Budweiser and barbecuing and NASCAR and airplanes and working outside. We know he loved us, too, and we're really going to miss him.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years Nancy, his sister Connie Lee, two sons, two grandsons, and two nieces.

Memorial services will be held at 3pm CT on June 5, 2021 at Greenwood United Methodist Church at 4220 Bryan Street in Greenwood, Florida. Flowers are welcome, as are donations in John's name to his favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

John was a friend from Lake Worth High. We worked together for Aircraft Service in West Palm Beach International Airport in the summer of 1973. He took me up in a small airplane sometimes during lunch. What fun and fun memories. Mark Kimmins

John was such a gentle, loving and kind hearted person. I will always remember our friendship from working together and after. My condolences and deepest sympathy goes out to Nancy and the family. John will certainly be missed.

To the Biesnecker Family. So sorry for you loss. John was a pleasure to work and hang with. I think the first sentence in the third paragraph says it best. "He was genuinely good person." No doubt.
