Judith Bowers Obituary

Judith Ann Bowers, Age 77, of Winter Springs, FL, passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, February 13, 2021.

Judy was born in West Nanticoke, PA to parents, John Robert and Verda Marie Schekowski. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and her brother, John Robert Schekowski Jr. She is survived by her two sons, John and Scott Bowers, her two daughters in law, Autumn and Rosemary Bowers, her two grandchildren, Leslie and William Bowers, as well as her companion of the last three years, Joseph Scaccia Jr., who will all miss her dearly.

Judy (or Mimi), as many of her friends and family knew her, attended the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Longwood, FL.

This is not the goodbye we had all imagined. Due to the pandemic, we are limited to a private service for immediate family. When it is safer to gather, we will hold a celebration of her life to honor her in the manner she deserves.

Judy and I worked together At the Peoples First bank. I trained her and then we became friends. I´m very sad to hear of her passing. We had lost touch except for Facebook and her passing just seems so sudden.

John and Scott, so sorry to hear about
your mom. She was not only a great
friend to me, she also saved my bacon
many times over the 15 years we worked together. We will be thinking
of you and your families.
