Kathleen L. Young

Kathleen L. Young, 104, of Orlando, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022 under Hospice care. Born in Beaufort, S.C., then moving to West Palm Beach, FL, where she met her late husband, Glenn A. Young. In 1951, she and Glenn and their two children, Arthur and Kay, moved to Orlando and she has lived there until her recent passing. Kathleen has been an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando and served in many capacities at the church, since her arriving in Orlando in the 1950's. For a number of years, she had the pleasure of working for Dr. Thomas Cook as his receptionist. She is survived by her son, Dr. Arthur Young, wife Lynda, Ft Myers, FL and daughter, Kay Robertson living in St. Marys, Ga. Also, leaving five Grandchildren and ten Great Grandchildren, each one very special to her. A memorial and celebration of life will be held at the Westminster Towers, Orlando on February 4, 2022 at 2:00pm.
