Marlene Richmond Obituary

RICHMOND, MARLENE M., 50, of Winter Park passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2002. She was born May 7, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Winter Park. She was a Social Worker for the Dept. of Children and Family Services. Survived by her mother, Ellen C. Richmond, Winter Park; brothers, Gregory Richmond, Oviedo, and Douglas J. Richmond, Winter Park; sister, Nadine A. Richmond, Oviedo; nephews, Douglas, Blake, and Dan; nieces, Chelsea, Michelle, and Nancy Jo. The Memorial Service will be held at 9AM Saturday, September 14, 2002, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 526 N. Park Ave., Winter Park. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to St. Mary Margaret Building Fund, the Farm Workers Ministry, National Cancer Society, and the Central Florida United Aids Resources (CENTAUR). Carey-Hand Cox Parker Funeral Home, Winter Park, Florida.

My deepest sympathy goes to Marlene's family, whether related by blood or by love. I will miss her kindness, her laugh and her caring spirit. She was a great supervisor, good friend to me and to many children in the community who never knew her.
