Four years! Sometimes it feels like 4 days, other times...like 40 years.

Still looking forward to us reuniting. More now, then probably ever.

It has been 1 year ago today that I lost my loving husband, Pat. Not a day goes by that I don't ache for him. My only saving grace is that one day, we will again be together. This time, for eternity!

This is Judi, Pat's wife. I just discovered that this web site was here. Pat would have been so pleased to know that so many cared so deeply for him.

I cannot share with you how devestating Pat's death was to me and the girls. It was so very sudden. I have loved him all of my life and will continue to love him. I do not know what I will do without him, but I do know that Pat would've wanted me to be strong and carry on. Below is what was written on Pat's memorial cards:

Until Then: We've shared our lives these many years. You've held my hand; you've held my heart. So many blessings, so few tears- Yet for a moment, we must part. The memories you've given me are the times I've shared with my best friend. I'll hold them, Love. Right here they'll be, until we share our lives again.

I will always love you, Pat!

My dad and your grandfather Ray were brothers. A death is always unexpected regardless of the age. He is added to the list of Weitzels we remember in prayer. Part of our joys when we meet our God, will be the family reunion, what a party that will be, seeing all of you. We are praying also for your family left behind.

Dear family,

My deepest sympathy to all of you on this terrible untimely loss. Pat had so much more life to live. I wish i had known him better and spoke more often but i assure you i do have many fond memories of him and the time i stayed with you. He was a good man, a good provider and father, and he will be deeply missed by all the Weitzel family here and in Illinois. I would like to apoligise for not bieng able to attend services but my health does not permit me to travel that far but know that you are all in my thoughts and i wish i could be there.
