My thoughts & prayers are with Coach Moss's family at this time. I was a member of his 1965 Charleston Rockets Team. I felt lucky to be able to play for someone as knowledgeable and fair as he was. He was a great strategist & a tremendous football intellect. His game strategies and applications transferred well into life situations. He was a Very Genuine human being and he will be missed by many.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Moss family.
Perry Moss was a football icon. We treasure the memories of our times with Coach Moss -- the Orlando Panthers, UCF, and the Orlando Renegades. We called Les "Little Les" and Penny was "Penny-O".
Perry touched so many lives in so many ways. He will always be remembered.

Perry was a coach, a leader and most of all a winner. He was respected by everyone and he was strong, tough and fair. He loved his players and always fought for them to be the best and have the best. He was also a great player in his day. I loved coaching for him, I learned something new everyday. But mostly I just loved him, he was like my dad in many ways, they coached against each other for years and my dad respected him greatly! Rest in peace Coach!

It was an honor to know Coach Moss. I have many great memories of him and I only hope that Les, Cindy, Jacob and the entire Moss family can find comfort in their memories of him. I know he is in heaven coaching with Fran Papasedero and Tim Marcum. With Nell on the sidelines. Prayers to the family.

I remember Coach Moss as the Orlando Predators head coach in the glory days. ALWAYS a professional and winner in my mind. I must say I had no idea of his lengthy and successful football coaching history. If ever there was an all star coach is was Perry Moss. I am sure he is coaching still, but now a heavenly team. May the family and all affected by his loss be comforted by the fond memories he will forever leave in our minds and hearts. Prayers for the family and may God hold you all in His hands. Peace and blessings.....

I had the pleasure of meeting up with Coach Moss again in 2011. Coach Moss made me into a Arena Football/Orlando Predator fan. I even proposed to my wife at a Predators game, that is how much I loved the sport and my wife also became a fan. Coach may you RIP and I know you are still coaching up in the heavens.
