Richard Pratt Obituary

Richard F. Pratt, 88, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 19th, 2021. Family and close friends surrounded him.

His wife of 22 years, Sunny, survives him. Other surviving family members include his three sons, Roger, Richard, and his wife, Brenda, Mark, and his wife, Terry.

Also surviving him are stepchildren David Dugan, Robert Dugan, and his wife, Connie, Erin Sanders, and her husband, David. Sisters Dorothy, Ruth, and Marian also survive him.

Richard served our nation with honor for 20 years after enlisting in the Navy at age 17, achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He also served his God with great distinction as a prophet, prayer warrior, and author. He was a mentor, sharing his love of Jesus with his adopted son Doug Prusak and his wife, Lisa, and the now-deceased Chien Dang and his wife, Trihn.

Calvary Assembly of Orlando will host the funeral service on December 28th. Viewing begins at 10:30 am, and the service will start at 11 am. Burial will be held at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims on Wednesday, December 29th, at 2:30 pm.

Instead of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association.

The Korean War Veterans Association Department of Florida and Chapter 173 Casselberry send our deepest sympathies on the passing of our Brother In Arms Richard F. Pratt (US Navy CPO 20 years).
He served his country well and honorably.
May he Rest In Peace.
