With a quiet prayer on her lips, Rosa V. Rhodes left this life in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 19, 2019. Born in Germany on October 30, 1925, she traveled to Florida as a young "war bride" after World War II. She was, however, suddenly widowed in 1971. She worked in the health care industry in Orlando and became a United States citizen. For almost 70 years, she was a regular and devoted member of St. James Catholic Cathedral in Orlando. Her funeral mass will take place there on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
