Ms. Graham was one of my very favorite teachers in elementary school. She was kind, intelligent, and consistent; traits that should be inherent in a 4th grade teacher. I´m sad for her passing but grateful for the time I had in her classroom.

Rose Graham was my 4th grade teacher at Ruth Murdoch. She was one of my favorite teachers. She made me feel loved and it was so empowering to see a teacher who had brown skin like me. She was a kind and patient teacher, however, had no difficulty correcting my behavior when I was wrong. She believed in me like no other and even sent me a bday present every year since. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

Miss Rose Graham was my 4th grade teacher at Battle Creek Academy (1975-76). She was more then a teacher. She had great influence on me to live the life of a christian as an adult. She did activities with me and other classmates even long after we were in her class room. Her methods of teaching were fun and long lasting. She was a very caring teacher to her students. Her relationships went long after you were in her classroom. My condolences to her family for your loss. I can't wait till we go to heaven when there will be no more sickness and death. Look forward to the "Family Reunion" in Heaven!

Aunt Rose was my godmother. It breaks my heart to not be there in person to see her off, she was extremely loving and always made sure I was okay. Aunt rose you are at rest now and I´ll see you soon

I had the pleasure of teaching with Rose at Battle Creek in the 1980´s. She was such a pleasure to be around and so obviously loved her students and all those around her.
I will always have a warm spot in my heart for Rose and look forward to seeing her in heaven.

Rose Graham was my 4th grade teacher at Battle Creek Academy in 1970/71. Miss Graham was the kind of teacher that met you at the classroom door in the morning with a bright white smile and warm hug. She was the kind of teacher that made you believe you were her favorite. Her methods made you want to be a good student, both academically and behaviorally, because Miss Graham was as open in sharing love as she was in sharing correction. Either way, Miss Graham made you feel loved well.
As a class, we celebrated our adored teacher. We had many a surprise lunchtime party for Miss Graham, but never did she express complaint or irritation that we had once again ruined her hot lunch as we showered her in ribbons of Silly String. How special she made me feel to be part of the rotation of student threesomes to be invited to her home after church for Sabbath dinner. I don’t recall the main meal she served, but I well remember the huge bowl of M&M’s and candy bars set out on the table for our post-lunch enjoyment without restraint. A single woman hosting three pre-teen “besties” all hyped up on girly drama and chocolate – good grief, the woman had nerves of steel!
To have been a student of Miss Graham’s was to be a person of interest to her for all time sake. As an adult with my own school aged children, I never had to introduce myself on the few occasions that I saw her back in my hometown. She remembered me well, asked regarding my friends, and she always shared a recollection from my days as her student. A visit with Miss Graham never failed to leave me feeling like I had been her favorite.
You are safe in the arms of Jesus, Miss Graham. Until we meet again, you are loved well!
