Shirley Snyder Sojourner passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 26, 2021. She will be remembered as an inspiration to anyone who knew her. Shirley's kindness and volunteer spirit will be missed by all. The family suggests in lieu of flowers to please contribute generously to your favorite charity.

Mrs. Sojourner actually was my teacher in 7th grade at Memorial jr. high. She also lived down the street from me in the Isle of Catalina. She was a really sweet lady and I liked her a lot as a person and a teacher.

Dear Scott and family, your mother was a wonderful lady. She was kind and humble, funny, clever, and wise. It was always a pleasure to see her at the hospital helping others. Everybody loved her so much and her death has brought sorrow to a lot of lives whom she had touched. I am extremely sorry, and she has definitely left an indelible impact in my life. Accept my deepest condolence.

I have such wonderful memories of Shirley and how she was a great friend of my Mother. Shirley is one of the most caring and laving people I have ever known and I´m honored that she was a part of our lives. So sorry to hear of the loss of Shirley. We were teaching friends for many years, as well as with her husband, David. Both were exceptional educators and are remembered for their dedication to their students . Shirley and Dave will be missed by many.
