I just stumbled over this obituary. I had not spoken to Steve since we graduated High School. But every time I would see an AMC Gremlin or Mercury Cyclone, I would think of him. I am shocked. I am so sorry for your loss

To the Gruber family, Wayne and I want to extend our sympathy in your loss of Steve. It's so very hard to suffer the loss of such a vibrant
young man. We had many good times with Steve and Chuck with The Classic Cruisers. You all have my prayers that God can give you the peace and grace to get you through this difficult time. Much love and comfort.

Very sorry to hear of Steve's passing.
Knew Steve for many years when he was a kid going to car shows with his Dad.
He was a member of our car club the "Classic Cruisers".
Saw Steve several times in the last few years as well, Turkey Rod Run in Daytona, Car show in Orlando & at our mutual friend Joe Madeline's funeral.
Steve will be missed - but remembered as a wonderful person, he had a great laugh & just a pleasure to be around.
Please accept our deepest sympathy.

The loss of my brother has been devastating and has left a void in our family. I will miss his impressions that made me laugh, his cards on every holiday, and his presence in my life. I will think of him every time I pass a classic car, hear an Elvis song , or escape to TV Land :) Thank you all for your kind words about my amazing brother! Elvis has left the building...
